School Meals
Lunchtime
At Ascot Road, all children eat a hot meal together every lunchtime. This gives them a chance to have a healthy, tasty meal as well as spending time with their classmates and teachers.
Our catering is provided by Herts Catering and is cooked fresh daily on-site. Please see our menu below.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. We encourage the children in these year groups to have a school provided meal provided by Herts Catering and funded by the government. Some children from Year 3 to Year 6 are eligible for free school meals. Details can be obtained from the School Office.
If your child is likely to be late but requires a school meal that day, could you email office@ascotroadcfs.org.uk no later than 9.20 am stating their name, class and their preferred meal option.
Children are also able to bring in a healthy packed lunch ensuring that it doesn't contain any nuts as we are a nut free school.
Allergies
If your child has an allergy, please complete the Herts Catering online application form to ensure we can cater accordingly.
